GENERAL COUNSELc.10+ YEARS PQEREAL ESTATE INFRASTRUCTURE/PRIVATE EQUITY£ HIGHLY COMPETITIVELONDON HYBRIDFantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer with leadership qualities who is looking for a challenging opportunity in a high-growth environment.We are searching for an exceptional General Counsel to become an integral part of our clients expanding organisation. Our client is a private equity backed real estate infrastructure business, on a fast track to transforming the consumer facing landscape itoperates in across Europe. Your role as General Counsel will be a pivotal in supporting their growth journey. As part of the leadership team, you will ensure its operations adhere to the legal frameworks in each relevant jurisdiction and provide valuable legal insights to the executive team. As well as managing a small legal team, your expertise will safeguard theorganisation and support its strategic expansion plans.We are focussing on experienced lawyers (c. 10 years PQE and above) with excellent private practice training and qualifications and broad skillsets in-house. Experience in high growth/PE backed businesses will be valuable and the key functional areas willbe real estate, European M&A, PE/fundraising, as well as wider advisory and risk management work. You will have a track record of managing a legal function and external counsel across different jurisdictions and a hands-on, proactive approach to building relationshipsand setting strategy with the Board and senior stakeholders.
