Global Assurance Quality - Learning & Education: Programme LeaderRole descriptionWould you love to impact on the development of thousands of PwC professionals globally Do you enjoy influencing innovative responses to Network needs and challengesAs aproject leader in Global Assurance Quality - L&E you get to work collaboratively with Network functional groups on the design, development and evaluation of technical training in the global PwC Curricula for audit practitioners. You will be pivotal in supportingthe Curriculum Leader and curriculum team to successful achievement of strategic priorities, balancing territory perspectives and current learner insights.The main responsibilities of this role and the competencies required are described below.Main responsibilitiesThesuccessful candidates responsibilities will include leading teams to: Determine content and propose and design innovative learning solutions to complex or long-standing areas of Network focus. Create materials for use in training suitable for a variety ofroles within PwC, from new joiners to senior practitioners, including example audit documentation and case facts to highlight specific issues and learning points.Other responsibilities will include: Drafting communications and position papers for a varietyof internal PwC stakeholder groups, regulatory submissions, and internal and external communications to support the successful implementation of training materials in the Network territories. Leading the process of scoping changes to the existing curriculamaterials, based on territory feedback, changes in standards, guidance, tools and technology, and proposing resulting projects and project teams.Individual RequirementsHigh performing Senior Manager (1 or 2 rated, or equivalent) with a passion for developingothers, who is well rounded in all areas of the PwC Professional dimensions. They will have:Experience: A number of years experience including both audit practice experience and experience creating training solutions for audit practitioners. Preferred experience:experience using audit tools such as Aura, Connect Suite, Halo for Journals, Count; experience working on a PCAOB engagement.Whole Leadership: Strong influencing and collaboration skills. Ability to confidently present, lead and facilitate discussions withsenior stakeholders. Proven ability to lead teams to meet tight deadlines. Strong coaching skills and a commitment to developing those that work for them. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to confidently facilitate/instruct training programmes.BusinessAcumen: A strong understanding of the PwC business model and how we serve a variety of clients.Technical and Digital: Excellent written English and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in L&E instructing, training design and development and/ora strong interest in L&E/adult learning. Desire to develop expertise in the area of learning. Strong audit technical skills, including the proficient use of Aura would be beneficial.Global and Inclusive: Ability to work with multicultural teams and sensitivityto cultural implications in learning design and implementation. Ability to propose solutions in situations where there are multiple conflicting viewpoints.Relationships: Ability to develop relationships quickly. Ability to work effectively with a globallydispersed team in a virtual environment. Good interpersonal and organisational skills.Note: Less experience or less demonstrated ability in one or more of the above competencies can be compensated by particular strengths in other competencies. Each candidatewill be reviewed in light of the combined competencies that they bring to the L&E team.Work requirementsThe candidate will work as part of a globally dispersed team and: Can expect to work from London, UK as part of the Global Assurance Quality - L&E Team.May be expected to attend meetings at non-traditional times to accommodate time zone differences with team members. Can anticipate global travel (pending the ability to travel internationally post pandemic) ranging in duration from two days to three weeks.Thedegree of travel has some flexibility and can vary depending on the assigned project responsibilities and the individuals personal circumstances.Successful candidates can expect to gain: A professional development and career enhancement opportunity whichmay not be available locally. A "presence" in the L&E design and content of theCurriculum, carrying the needs of the practitioners and instructors in their territory. An in-depth understanding of process and quality standards in L&E design and development, including evaluations and assessments. An insight into adult learning theory,transferrable to ongoing coaching interactions and classroom instruction.
