QUANTEAM UKQuanteam Group is a Consultancy firm specialising in the financial sector, in London, Paris, Brussels, New York and Singapore.Since 2007, our 800 consultants provide our sector with expertise and capacity across different areas such as Financial Engineering and Quantitative Research, Regulations and Market Change, IT Transformation and Innovation.Our major clients are Corporate & Investment Banks, Asset Managers, Financial Associations, Hedge Funds, Brokers, Trading Companies, and Insurance Companies.The company participates in major Programmes driven by Business, Technology and Regulatory initiatives, and we bring business advice through quantitative, risk, front-office, and organisational experience as well as IT expertise via Business Analysis, Development,Business Continuity and Change Management.As part of the Quanteam Group, Quanteam UK, based in the City of London, counts more than 80 consultants, delivering our expertise to major financial institutions in London.JOB DESCRIPTIONOur client, a major French Investment Bank is looking for a global support lead, to work on FX front-office booking and risk systems.ContextThe consultant will lead the team of frontline support personnel in London, Hong Kong, and New York who provide 24-hour service to the FX trading business globally, specifically on all the front-office booking and risk systems.These include a mixture of in-house and vendor systems focused on foreign exchange spot, forward, options, and metals trade management, on client order management, on market risk management, and on associated smaller systems that provide integration to othersystems internal and external to the bank.Interpersonal skillsAn ability to work well under pressure, provide leadership in situations both of crisis management and ordinary service, and to build trust and relationships with demanding customers around the world are critical for this role.The consultant will have experience leading a front-office IT support team, either on a regional or global basis.Key skills required are good knowledge of FX trading, order management, and risk management, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to motivate and organise the support team and ensure all stakeholders are informed during and after incidents.Financial and technical skillsExperience with Barracuda order management, Murex or Orchestrade trade management, and Deal Hub integration along with similar vendor products would be a real plus.Familiarity with basic IT infrastructure such as messaging middleware, relational databases, application monitoring, and change management are also important.The consultant will bring a commitment to excellent customer service and a positive attitude for continuous improvement in advancing our foreign exchange business.
