Funding Analyst - Data, Reconciliations, Testing A Leading Financial Services Business are looking to hire a Funding Analyst to assist in delivering projects, including testing and reconciliation of static data £340-£360 a day - Inside IR35 (Umbrella)6 Month contract - WFH (remote initially) - London Looking for someone to start ASAP.Team Function/Overview The Departments primary responsibility is to manage effectively all correspondent cash balances and to negate the cost of overdrawn or excess balancesto the corporation. Role requires candidate to assist in delivering projects, including testing and reconciliation of static dataGeneral Responsibilities Perform UAT Management /Follow up of issues and outstanding requirements Ability to analyse and interpretfinancial and statistical information Analysing and interrogating data to identify issues Strong Communication skills enabling effective interaction with multiple departments/levels Maintain and build professional relations with all internal clients Supportfor corporate initiatives Involvement in multiple projects that are running concurrently within the team. Takes personal responsibility for own performance, identifying enhancements to processes that realise tangible benefits. Documentation and publicationof MIS where required Completion of all daily processes and controls including ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned. Driving initiatives to reduce Manual Touch Points (MTPs) Ability to self-manage time and work load Development Value: Fully proficient in theuse of technology within own department. Enhancing communication and organisational skills. Meeting targets set within the group and interacting with a wide spectrum of people to achieve these skills. Self-motivation, flexibility and a strong desire to succeedKnowledge An understanding of Operations, settlement, Reconciliation would be beneficial The candidate is expected to be dynamic, flexible and a quick learner as the business requires candidates to be able to learn and perform multiple functions Work experiencein the Financial services industry is a benefit Displays a well-developed ability to schedule work and understand relative priorities Building positive working relationships and working with team members to understand the root cause of an issue in a timelyand effective manner Experience in any of the following would be beneficial: SWIFT Euroclear and Domestic clearing for Fixed Income and Equity products Nostro Reconciliations Skills IT/Spreadsheet/Analytical/modelling skills Excellent PC skills, to cover thefollowing packages Excel (pivot tables) Word PowerPoint Access In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, good time management skills and be comfortable dealing with staff at all levels including seniormanagement. They will have experience in Projects including Testing, Reconciliations, with the ability to analyse and interpret large amounts of data Ability to identify trends and patterns within the data
