Job Description

This is an opportunity to join the Enterprise division within Macquarie Asset Management ("MAM"). In this role, you would be responsible for managing our Fund Management teams supporting the finance, treasury, operations and investor relations functionsfor Macquarie Asset Managements Private Credit funds and products, including but not limited to:

  • Transaction support and execution for new investments, management of transaction financial close and post-close matters
  • Managing ongoing finance operations for product vehicles and SPVs, including setting up fund administrator services & tax consultants, supervising SPV level accounting and audits and working closely with the asset level finance teams on periodic reportingcycles
  • Overseeing investor, management and lender reporting obligations and engagement with investors about relevant matters
  • Managing technical accounting decisions internally (for fund reporting) and externally with the auditors (as needed)
  • Ensuring new funds and new processes are established as per business requirements within Macquarie Asset Managements global policies and practices.
  • Provide vision and lead discussion on operational requirements for new products either from organic or inorganic growth
  • Assessing and implementing strategic opportunities to drive value for Macquarie and Macquarie Asset Management Private Credit, including optimisation of practices, data flows and technology platforms.
In addition to managing the global team in their execution of the above, you will be a key business partner driving forward initiatives such as;
  • Partnering with internal support teams and external service providers to enhance the teams operating model, create efficiencies for the business and reduce risk.
  • Working closely with global Macquarie Asset Management Credit senior business stakeholders, with a focus on complex strategic projects relating to growth and restructures of the business.
To be successful in this role, you should have 15+ years experience in financial services and in leading large teams and working with senior stakeholders. You should be a culture carrier and have a passion and track record for people experience and developinghigh performing teams. You will be a transformation champion and will work closely with the Private Credit and Global Fund Management Digital Solutions leads. Managing a range of competing priorities and projects will be a constant, and you should have strongcommunication skills and the ability to guide the team in resolving complex/technical issues in a practical manner. Strong preference for relevant experience in credit and/or asset management. This role is based in London. The Private Credit Fund Management team is predominantly based in London, supported by a team in Gurugram, India and external fund administrators for pooled funds.
