Job Description

OUR CLIENTis a fast growing, niche specialist developer and fund / asset manager focussing in the alternative residential sector including student accommodation and co-living. They are looking to deploy further capital and scale their assetsfurther. Due to continued growth, they now require a Fund Analyst / Modeller to act as a business consultant mostly concentrating on modelling and also undertaking some accounting.THE ROLE:This role will report directly to the CFO and assist with the reporting requirements for the Funds and its entities as well as general support for ad-hoc tasks including acquisitions. This role will require:

  • To own and develop the various models required across the portfolios which include but are not limited to Distribution calculations, Fund Model, Join Ventures models and Cash management models.
  • To be involved in acquisitions, new fund raises, modelling post re-financing and other ad hoc tasks.
  • To be involved in any workstreams falling within the finance and tax processes and managing and training junior members of the team.
THE PERSON:To apply, ideally you should be a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with 2 - 3 years post qualification at a large audit firm in the transactions team. The key requirements for this role are attention to detail, clearand organised working style, time management and appreciation for proper processes and governance. It will suit a pro-active personality who is keen to learn and is seeking a move into an entrepreneurial, dynamic and successful working environment. You shouldbe able to work to tight deadlines. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and third party suppliers, therefore, a very clear written and spoken communication skills are very important.
