Job Description

Fund Accounting Oversight Consultant Meraki Talent is currently working with a global financial services firm, to recruit a Fund Accounting Consultant for their hybrid working role based in London. The team look after a number of UK funds for a number of platinum level asset management clients. Facing off to your own client pool, you will oversee offshore NAV production from London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous NAV production and international experience ideally who would like to move into a client facing role. Duties of the Fund Accounting Oversight Consultant:

  • Reviewing and approving daily valuations, prepared by our offshore location, on an exception basis
  • Validating high impacting NAV exceptions already approved by Senior Analyst
  • Assisting offshore location with Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge, daily valuations and query resolution (client, internal stakeholders)
  • Reviewing cash, stock, FX, derivative position reconciliations against custody/third parties with appropriate escalation to resolution
  • Overseeing monthly deliverables produced by offshore. To include but not limited to: equity and bond yields, OCFs, motive and circumstance, Management fee invoice calculations, capital/income apportionments, performance fees
Background of the Fund Accounting Oversight Consultant:
  • Experience within fund accounting/fund valuations/NAV production
  • International experience would be highly sought after
  • Client facing experience or desire to work directly with clients would be advantageous
