Job Description

This is a 6 to 9 month contract at a boutique West End based private equity fund, covering core fund accounting responsibilities during a period of change and fund raising at the firm. Reporting into the CFO, this role is designed to provide extra coverto the team during a busy period for the firm and would suit someone with a background in accounting for closed-end fund structures.Hybrid working 3 days in the office, flexible family friendly working culture, incredibly down to earth people & sociable working culture; what more do you need!Responsibilities are summarised as:

  • Working with the independent Fund administrator, oversee monthly NAV reporting of all funds and SPVs
  • To work alongside the CFO to support the portfolio managers with back office book-keeping, portfolio reconciliation, investor allocation, management fee calculation and financial analysis.
  • To provide accurate and relevant intelligence and data analysis to the business in order to ensure effective risk management, and positive relationships with investors and regulatory authorities.
Your background:
  • Qualified accountant or equivalent with a background spent working with closed-end funds, ie: private equity, infra, real estate, private debt, credit etc.
  • Practical and hands-on fund accounting experiences, gained either in-house or in fund administration
  • At least 5+ years experience per the above
  • Strong systems skills, particularly Excel and with fund accounting software
  • Comfortable working in a smaller boutique business, talking to stakeholders across the business and externally
  • Able to start this role by the end of November at the latest
Salary is £70-80k give or take run as a fixed term contract, not day rate, with completion bonus and benefits. Visa sponsorship is not on offer and relevant UK working experiences are essential.Eames Consulting is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
