Job Description

OUR CLIENTare a well-established and active international Investment and Asset Management group with decades of experience in helping institutions, intermediaries and individuals around the world to invest money. As a part of their expansion,they are now looking to appoint an ambitious Fund Accountants to work in their Real Estate Fund Accounting Teamon both their listed European real estate investment and new PAIF funds. Open to Contract or permanent applications.THE ROLE The successful applicant will be undertaking below listed, but not limited duties:

  • Producing Statutory Reporting, Investor Reporting, Board Papers, NAV Calculations, Income Distribution Preparing calculations and Income Tax and VAT Returns for the UK, Luxembourg and Jersey Real Estate Funds or Special Purpose Vehicles where required.
  • Ensuring that appropriate records are maintained for entities and underlying assets on property management system.
  • Building, developing and maintaining good working relationships between the team and its internal/external clients and suppliers.
  • Ensuring that companys group policies are complied with and working to refine existing procedures/practices and processes to increase operational efficiency.
  • Providing oversight of loan administration.
  • Providing oversight of and involvement in invoice authorisation and cash management operations.
  • Completing other ad-hoc projects and tasks from time to time.
THE PERSON:to apply for this roleyou must bean ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant with previous experience of fund accounting and real estate structures. You will be able to take responsibility for planning you own workloadtypically against a background of changing priorities and /or external events for the month ahead. You will hold strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with a wide team and be a good team player with a strong attentionto detail.
