This exciting new role requires a full stack javascript engineer to workacross a range of products, including a mobile app written in `react-native` for Android and iOS and also a SPA written in `react` and `Next.js`, and a `gatsby` static website, and our backend is fully cloud hosted with `GCP/Firebase`.As a key part of the engineering team, you will work closely with other engineers, product, design and client facing members of the team. You will interact regularly with the whole team, including the Founders, to enable the evolution and the scaling of theSaaS and mobile platform. If youre interested in venturing outside the norm and are ready to join a company on a mission to mainstream mental fitness, wed love to learn more about you.Role and Responsibilities:Working with the Head of Engineering, Product and Design in technical decision making and planning to support product growthWork with product to refine the vision and influence tech roadmapWork with other and more junior engineers and through PRs to ensure high quality of codeWork on multiple codebases including mobile apps, webapps, websites, backendAPIs, and integrationsCode quality: responsible for creation of integration and e2e tests to ensure production qualityAssessing feasibility and providing estimates on different candidate solutions at a micro and macro levelContributions to an Agile team, and working practises in order to maximise outcomes and ensure scalable velocityPerson specification Essential:Demonstrable excellence in javascript programming and reactOwnership and responsibility over the codebase and its qualityExperience in building and architecting complex software systems across the stackGood working knowledge of our tech stack, including React Native, Node/apis, React, Redux, Gatsby, Next, Firebase, Experience with working with a big three cloud platformPerson specification Desirable:Experience working with on data visualisationExperience of working on highly interactive web and mobile applicationsExperience working on edtech products or products with recommendation enginesA passion for psychology and mental fitness
