Job Title Full-Stack Front Office Application DeveloperLocation LondonCorporate Title Vice PresidentYou will be joining Deutsche Bank Group Strategic Analytics. The group is responsible for delivering applications to solve quantitative problems for Investment Banking trading businesses.You will be a Lead Developer within the Platform Strats team, with responsibility for development of performant, highly usable, front-office facing trading applications as part of the strategic Kannon pricing, risk and Profit and Loss (P&L) platform.Application server-side components are written in Kotlin and Python and will make extensive use of core Kannon libraries that are coded in C++ and Python. Front-end functionality is written in JavaScript, Typescript & React.You will have product and delivery ownership for multiple applications - incorporating requirements analysis, determining delivery plans, designing, and implementing applications, rolling out and performing ongoing application management responsibilities.Application functionality will include inquiry capture, pricing, trade viewing, marking, valuation, risk, and P&L.What well offer youA healthy, engaged, and well-supported workforce are better equipped to do their best work and, more importantly, enjoy their lives inside and outside the workplace. Your key responsibilities

• Analysis, design, development, and support of Kannon applications including inquiry capture, trade viewing, marking, valuation, risk, and P&L
• Building well designed, performant, and professional applications with outstanding user experience
• Working closely with other Strats, traders, quants, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust, reliable, and performant solutions
• Supporting the business through a support rota including investigating queries and issues

Your skills and experience

• Experience delivering front-office applications for Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives trading businesses including marking, pricing, blotters, risk, and P&L
• Understanding of derivatives products, risk and P&L, market data and calibrations
• Experience of server-side development in Kotlin and/or Java
• Experience in Web technologies including Javascript, React and Typescript
• Ability to implement and deliver working solutions on tight schedule and ability to communicate effectively with the stakeholder for refining the requirements
