Job Description

Our client has successfully disrupted the UK market and is now scaling globally. They have raised over £100m and are looking to scale their product and engineering teams. They are looking for a remote Full Stack Developer with excellent C# and NodeJS skillsto lead one of their product teams.Responsibilities:The Full Stack Engineer will work remotely on the clients core banking platform and both the internal and external APIs.Developing in C# and T-SQL using Java Script and messaging services with a clean-code approach to deliver new software products, enhanceexisting products and taking ownership of their code in production.Essential requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player with a degree relevant to Information Technology/Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent) and at least 4 years of relevant work experience;
  • Demonstratable excellence in C# development;
  • Good experience of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, nodejs, npm, es7+;
  • Excellent database knowledge with experience of SQL Server and T-SQL;
  • Experienced in the use of messaging systems Azure Service Bus, Rabbit MQ, NService Bus; and
  • An excellent knowledge of messaging systems in particular Azure Service Bus and Event Grid.
  • Understands Service Orientated Architecture and Microservices.
The following is desirable:
  • Service Fabric;
  • NodeJS, npm, es7+;
  • Elasticsearch;
  • TDD / BDD;
  • Multi-threading; and Financial experience with knowledge of payments such as Swift, BACS, Chaps or Faster Payments ideal and or how Cards work (Visa or Mastercard).
