We are searching for front-end JavaScript engineers to join our expanding team. In this role you will be responsible for building and supporting a client-side platform used to deliver several key applications. Flagship applications include the award winning J.P. Morgan Markets eXecute Single Dealer Platform, and advanced Sales, Research & Analytics tools. We have a global development team focused on providing technology solutions to solve our clients needs. The team partners with the global Markets Execution, Sales and Research businesses and has responsibility for client-facing technology deliveries providing thousands of users with capabilities covering electronic trading, pre-trade analytics and post trade operations. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines Understanding of architecture and design across all systems Working proficiency in developmental toolsets Knowledge of industry wide technology strategies and best practices Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement Have in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and its idiosyncrasies. Have strong computer science foundations. Have a clear understanding of OO and functional programming paradigms. Have experience in full software development lifecycle with agile methodologies. Have experience with the following tools & technologies: React Redux RXJS Webpack, Grunt and NPM TypeScript ES6+ JavaScript Web Engineering, Electron, NodeJS, proven delivery of scalable web applications The hiring manager for this job opening would welcome a conversation about flexible working.
