Front End Developer - Clojure Script Finance/Banking £70,000 - £90,000 Remote working and On boarding The Company/Role: Front End Developer - Clojure ScriptMy client is a growing and award winning financial services bank awaiting FCA and PRA to become a fully-regulated bank, with customers ranging from fintech start-ups with bold new ideas to established brands breaking out into new territory. Whether theyre large or small, they all need the same things to get to market: a Banking as a Service (BaaS) partner, a compliance solution and solid accounting infrastructureThe business have grown quickly within the last year to our current team size of 14 which is made up of the CTO, VP of Engineering and 12 engineers split across backend, infrastructure and full stack specialisations.Currently seeking a Frontend Developer - ClojureScript to join this growing team and helping working on exciting project along with an establish client list.Frontend stack: CLJS, Reframe, Reagent, React, Styled Components, Styled System and Storybook.Our backend stack: Clojure, Kafka, Datomic, Kubernetes and AWSWhat you will be doing: Front End Developer - Clojure Script

  • Building out the component architecture of our SPA
  • Integrating and extending our backend APIs
  • Helping build and grow our design system
  • Writing accessible, semantic and performant frontend code
  • Developing and extending our test suite
  • Working in tandem with designers
    • Skills/Experience: Front End Developer - Clojure Script
  • The ideal candidate for this job will have most of the following:
  • Strong JS experience in React or Vue and experience with browser quirks
  • Experience in cross-functional product development teams, shipping consumer-facing features
  • Proven contributions to internal design systems
  • An appreciation for the importance of good documentation - internal and external
  • Solid understanding of semantic and accessible HTML and CSS
  • Attention to detail, especially around performance, accessibility, reliability and security
