Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Freight Operations Manager for a well-established niche sector Freight company that deals with Fine Arts. The company are based in the Park Royal area.-The main emphasis of this role will be to provide leadership and implement best practice working solutions.There are strong existing client relationships within a narrow customer base, working for a niche IATA freight company owned by a well renowned International company.Applicants will need an understanding of all aspects of freight forwarding, including handling DG goods, and maintaining a Regulated Agent regime. A good working knowledge of CHIEF is also required.Applicants need experience of managing the administrative aspects of dealing with HMRC in respect of compliance issues. For example CCGs, Customs Warehousing. Existing operational knowledge encompassing the operation of an Excise Warehouse would place theapplicant in an advantageous position.The Company is consulting on expanding its operation to encompass other HMRC authorisations to enable a wider range of services being provided in-house basis to other Group entities.The successful applicant will own the day to day requirements of a freight operation, as well as supporting the ambitions of the senior leadership team in developing the range of services availableAs an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight recruitment specialist.
