Our client is an international freight forwarding specialist who offers freight solutions by road, sea and air worldwide.We are now looking to strengthen and add to the remotely based team a Freight Forwarding Development professional with a high level of freight forwarding experience, you will be working in a small team with a base from homeYour role of a Freight Account Manager will involve costing and quoting for all modes of freight, but mainly european road freight in the main, handling any freight documentation and operating cargo with already established company suppliersas well as using suppliers you source to maximise revenue and performance Using your own entrepreneurial skills to develop and maximise the freight business and thereby generate reasonable profits for the company. In order to apply you will have an Excellent freight forwarding background, be very commercially driven and focused. This is not just an operational role you must be able to pick up the phone and create sales opportunities and then operational manage them too.Benefits Salary circa £30,000 - £45,000 Pension Working remotely 20 days Holiday to start
