Job Description

Job title: FP & A ManagerJob type: PermanentSalary: £65k to £75k per annum dependant on experienceLocation: Central London - Initially WFHEslingKenny are currently recruiting for a growing Media business based in Central London. They are seeking an FP & A Manager due to growth within the business and is a newly created position.Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role is crucial in delivering financial modelling and analysis to internal stakeholders that will enable them to successfully execute the company strategy.Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing internal policies and associated financial modelling to ensure compliance with reporting requirements with assistance from the Financial Controller
  • Analyse financial performance against budget / forecast, highlighting trends, investigating variances, recommending corrective actions where appropriate and providing insightful analysis
  • Provide monthly commentary on key business trends
  • Develop and maintain monthly rolling forecasts, as well as five-year plan models and a customer database
  • Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecast process in collaboration with the Financial Controller, Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders
  • Provide appropriate challenge and support to the Commercial teams in order to deliver forecasts and financial plans which are challenging yet achievable
  • Ensuring that the finance team and other business stakeholders understand the models, methodology and outputs
  • Provide analysis to support key business initiatives and M&A work
  • Continuous improvement to simplify, standardise and streamline processes related to FP&A
  • Work with the BI team to develop KPI dashboards and report on relevant financial data to improve analysis and decision making
  • Ad-hoc assistance around management accounts and month-end may be required
    • Key Skills & Experience Required:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
  • 3+ years post qualified experience
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts including balance sheet and cash flow modelling
  • Commercial awareness and knowledge of business drivers (revenue, costs, profitability, capex and returns measures)
  • Proven experience of developing solid relationships with key stakeholders and being able to influence decision making
  • Be able to hit the ground running with minimal assistance
