Job Description

FM Category Procurement ManagerUp to £85,000 + Benefits - Hybrid Working (Central London Office) Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external strategic FM and MSP Suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the best terms and conditions for the wider organisation. Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and other termswith these FM Suppliers.
  • Establishing close relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop procurement strategies that meet these needs.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and performance standards. Monitor and analyse market trends, pricing, and technology advancements to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with FM procurement, including contractual, financial, and operational risks. Develop contingency plans and implement risk mitigation strategies.to address potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant European laws, regulations, and industry standards as well as organisational policies while staying updated on industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and efficiency of FM procurement processes. Regularly report on performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to procurement teams and stakeholders on FM procurement best practices.
  • Stay on top of emerging technologies and market trends. Stay informed about advancements in procurement and supply chain management and share knowledge with the team.
Required Background
  • Procurement, Strategic Sourcing & Category Management track record, with a CV that clearly demonstrates your personal procurement results/ achievements.
  • Commercially savvy with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and gain buy-in.
  • Strong understanding of FM products and services, market trends, and Supplier landscape.
  • Analytic mindset with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
