Job Description

Carpenters / Fire Door InstallersPermanentSouth West LondonSalary >£36,000 + van & fuel card + benefits packageHowells Solutions are working with a leading UK Social Housing Contractor who have over 15 offices in the UK to find qualified and experienced Fire Door Installers in South West London to work on Contracts within Social Housing, MoD and local authority buildings.Carpenters / Fire Door Installers Duties:

  • Complete Fire Stopping/Fire Door Installations
  • Appropriate use of all materials, tools, and resources
  • Ensure quality and standards of work are high
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are met as well as best practice standards
  • Undertaking any training necessary for the role
  • Ensure all work is evidenced through company App
Carpenters / Fire Door Installers Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry
  • NVQ in passive fire / fire stopping - (preferred, not essential)
  • Hold a valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
  • Be Asbestos-aware, and preferably first aid
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Be willing to undertake a DBS (CRB) check if required
  • FIRAS (Preferred)
