Job Description

Join a distinguished fine art mover in London as a Fine Art Transport/Operations Manager!As the Fine Art Transport/Operations Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently manage a team of drivers, ensuring compliance with administrative policies, safety regulations, and government protocols.- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, coordinating quotations and organizing collections/deliveries for both the UK and Europe through road freight.- Maintain high levels of customer service, addressing customer needs and concerns promptly.- Arrange collections/deliveries within the UK through road freight, overseeing timely transportation, and tracking the fleet to meet customer requirements.- Keep meticulous records of documents related to bookings and shipments.Efficiently routing vehicles to optimize transport logistics
  • Managing crews and overseeing their operations
  • Handling administration tasks for the sector, including VOSA checks
  • Managing the filing of digital and analogue tachographs
  • Collaborating with the warehouse manager to ensure seamless coordination
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the fine art shipping industry
  • IT proficiency, including Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and MSL operational software
  • Good knowledge of the art market and technical requirements for transporting and installing art
