Job Description

A versatile Financial Systems Manager, with excellent working knowledge of Adaptive Insights is required for a reputable TMT organisation, based in Central London.Reporting to the FP&A Director, the successful Financial Systems Manager will work closely with the BI & Analytics team in improving the primary planning tool across the business. In depth experience of Adaptive Insights is of paramount importance for this role.Financial Systems Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring agile delivery of Adaptive Insights Planning and Consolidations modules, to enable the business to utilise a single cloud platform covering all financial statements and automating previous manual methods.
  • Establishing robust processes to ensure each month end is completed on schedule with fully documented procedures for colleagues and maintained KPIs to track system usage and further improve deliveries from upstream teams.
  • Creating in-house solutions for Long Range Business Planning and developed user Excel VBA templates for budgeting Gross Margin, Opex, Capex and people specific costs with further developments to extend value to tax and treasury colleagues.
  • Leveraging system and financial knowledge to generate enhanced offerings to key users including a Tableau Gross Margin data source, Travel spend dashboards and using Alteryx to offer enhanced insight on customer usage and locations matching.
    • Candidate Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role within a multinational organisation
  • Good working knowledge of Adaptive Insights is essential
  • Very strong system skills, including exposure to SAP and advanced Excel
  • Good understanding of finance, particularly FP&A
  • Project experience
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Professional demeanour and ability to interact with persuasiveness and confidence
  • Confident working in a fast paced, professional environment
  • Confident in working alongside and influencing senior stakeholders
