Job Description

PR Account Manager / Senior Account Manager opportunity working for an independent integrated agency, across a wide range of B2B & B2C financial services brands.Client DetailsMy client are an independent integrated agency with a well established PR division, working with a roster of impressive clients in the financial services space, from asset managers through to consumer lenders including the likes of Legg Mason Asset Management,Shawbrook Bank, Smith & Williamson and John Lewis Finance! Based near Charing Cross, they operate a hybrid working set up (3 days p/w in the office) plus offer some fab benefits and sociable, buzzy team culture. Their service offering combines financial servicesexpertise across corporate and consumer PR, social and digital, news and content, as well as public affairs.DescriptionThe successful PR Account Manager will be responsible for supporting account teams and driving day-to-day activity on some of the agencys flagship accounts - whether drafting releases or developing relationships with media contacts - working closely withsenior directors in the business.The PR Account Manager will;

  • Manage day to day client liaison and build strong relationships
  • Produce impeccably written press releases, articles and commentary
  • Showcase a strong knowledge of the FS space and contribute to strategic campaign development
  • Build strong relationships with the media and secure high profile coverage for clients, across national, consumer, personal finance and trade publications
  • Manage and support the development of junior team members
ProfileThe ideal PR Account Manager will offer;
  • Evidence of working on, and delivering consistent results for, clients of varying sizes, ranging from household names to start-ups
  • Agency experience preferable
  • Evidence of connections, relationships and a network within the media
  • The ability to manage and develop a junior team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and good people skills
  • A passion for media, and great national, consumer, personal finance and trade media contacts
  • Creativity, innovation and a nose for news
  • To be friendly, confident and a self-starter
  • To be comfortable working in a team environment
