Job Description

Title: Financial Reporting ManagerSalary: £75,000 - £85,000 + generous discretionary bonus & benefitsLocation: Central London - HybridOur client is a privately owned, multinational Real Estate gas group headquartered in London with operations across the world. They are seeking a Big 4/Top10 audit trained Financial Reporting Manager to join their London finance team.Job Responsibilities:

  • Timely preparation of the group consolidation, quarterly management report and executive summary to top management
  • Preparation of insightful and commercially minded analysis both at subsidiary and group level
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Responsibility for timely accounting for portfolio of subsidiary companies
  • Responsibility for timely reporting of covenants
  • Responsibility for input to daily cash management
  • Liaison with external auditors and preparation of audit support schedules and working papers.
  • Accounting input in relation to non-routine transactions, including the preparation of accounting memos
  • Participation in the preparation of non-routine reporting, including in relation to M&A activity and equity raising.
  • Other project accounting work, including services provided to affiliates
  • Other tax and compliance related projects
  • Input into annual budgeting and cash forecasting process
  • Identification and implementation of systems and process improvements
Requirements:
  • ACA/ICAS/CPA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Big 4/Top 10 audit experience with experience of working with real estate and maritime clients
  • Strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of reporting under IFRS
  • Robust knowledge of accounting standards, financial compliance and focus on financial control and stewardship
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and effective time management
