Job Description

Goodman Masson have partnered with an international investment bank, to assist with their search for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to cover a maternity leave for 15 months, on a fixed term contract. The role will be hybrid working, 3 days intheir London office and 2 from home.This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established team of 5 and be involved in a variety of project operational accounting tasks. You will lead through pre month end checks till finalisation of results, forecast position, and be responsible forthe preparation and publication of the annual financial statements/reports for all UK subsidiaries.Responsibilities

  • Manage the production of the annual statutory accounts
  • Key contact for the day to day management of annual statutory audit
  • Lead month end close
  • Manage the quarterly IFRS9 Classification and measurement process
  • Assist with coordination, communication and implementation monitoring of new accounting standards
  • Support the production and timely submission of the regulatory reporting deliverables which includes FINREP, Forecast and memorandum data
  • Manage the quarterly IFRS9 Classification and Measurement Assessments
Experience/Skills
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong technical experience in financial accounting, working in an investment banking environment
  • Deep technical experience in a statutory reporting role
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
