* Overseeing and optimizing the financial aspects of the companys operations* Analysis of key financial metrics and track performance* Providing detailed commentary and analysis to various business stakeholdersFinancial Planning Analyst (FP&A) Hybrid, London - £50,000 - £60,000A fantastic client that operates within the broader less mainstream film industry. The company distinguishes itself by offering a diverse selection of independent and foreign films catering to different tastes and preferences and attracting a broader audienceto their 30 sites.A renowned brand in the entertainment industry are introducing a new and exciting role - the Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A). This role is crafted for a proactive and enthusiastic individual who possesses a robust analytical mindset and will delve into in-depthcommercial analysis, optimise data presentation and facilitate effective stakeholder management.Presently, the tasks are handled between the UK FD, FC and the Ops team - however there needs to be a dedication FP&A role in order to provide more insightful and detailed reports leading to a more profound impact.Key Responsibilities:* Playing a pivotal role in dissecting commercial data, going beyond the surface to identify trends, opportunities and potential areas of improvement - diving into ticket sales, locations, concessions, staffing and other trends to provide actionable insightsfor informed decision making* Distilling complex financial information into clear, concise and visually compelling presentations is a core responsibility* Leverage Excel to create comprehensive reports that convey the financial status but also provide a narrative - making the date more accessible and actionable for stakeholders* Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including the FD, Ops Heads and the new Head of Commercial* Establish effective communication channels - ensure that financial insights are not only understood but are also integrated into the decision making process across different departments* Digging deep into financial metrics, identifying trends and providing strategic recommendations to drive the business forward.This position is not just about presenting numbers but contextualising them within the industry landscape The ideal candidate can demonstrate a proven track record of establishing and implementing robust financial analysis and process a commercial and analytical mindset and advanced use of Excel in the form of VLookUps, pivot tables, macros.Experience:* Previous experience in an FP&A role previously, * Commercial and analytical mindset* Open on qualification* Advanced Excel - creating reports and providing commentaryThis role is a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of a prominent entertainment brand - it requires a proactive individual who can bring together existing tools, deep drive into commercial analysis and communicate financial insights effectivelyto diverse stakeholders.At Trace, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace and believe that, in any business, it is imperative that all members of staff feel appreciated and respected in their roles.Our job is simply to find the best candidate on the market, regardless of their age, race, religion, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other factor irrelevant to their qualifications and competencies
