Job Description

Due to an increased number of compliance projects, this established and reputable City based Investment Management company, have the brand new requirement for a compliance contractor to join their friendly team.The role is initially for a period of 3 months, but it is very possible that the position could be extended.The position will be based remotely, due to covid restrictions.The main focus of the role is:

  • Conduct appropriate due dilligence checks in line with company standards
  • Analysis of regulatory, transaction risks
  • Analysis of any KYC concerns
  • Apply suitable risk categorisation for all customers in line with KYC Standards
  • Reporting of any suspected Financial Crime
    • In order to be considered for this role, suitable applicants must possess:
  • Extensive KYC / CDD knowledge and experience within a financial institution, with good understanding of regulatory requirements for multiple legal entity types
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills i.e. face to face, telephone, e-mail, report writing
  • Strong analytical ability required • Proactive time management & organisation skills with the ability to juggle priorities required
  • Knowledge of company structures and accounts
  • Ability to work well under pressure required
  • The ability to work unsupervised
  • Proactive Team working
  • Good standard in IT literacy in particular Microsoft Office application
