Role: Financial ControllerSalary: £75,000-£95,000 plus bonusAn Investment Trust Company are looking to bring in a qualified accountant with post qualification experience to run the finance function and present directly to the Board.You will rely heavily on the work of outsourced providers, accountants and 3rd party administrators to review their work and produce Board Packs, Financial Statements, Analysis and commentary for the Board (plus ad hoc modelling and scenario analysis) aswell as ensuring the operational elements of finance run smoothly.The right person for this role will be a qualified accountant with some experience working in the finance team of an investment trust / manager OR previous experience auditing investment trusts / managers OR working within a fund administrator with clientsin the IM sector.Any experience with Investment Trusts or closed-ended funds would be a bonus or alternatively exposure to accounting for unquoted investments would be a plus.Key responsibilities will include:
