Job Description

Profile Criteria:

  1. Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a well-rounded accounting skillset either from industry or from practice (or a combination of both)
  2. Ideally experience from the advertising, media or creative industries. Someone who can understand how this type of business charges for work and also has the finesse to maintain positive relationships with clients, outsourced providers, key stakeholders,etc. B2B experience is essential.
  3. Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively organise tasks/responsibilities across the Finance function, while also thinking commercially on how they can add value to the business with key reporting and analysis.Someone who is also happy to speak to clients.
Role Summary:We want you to lead all things numerical, as well as keeping us creatives in line by managing our Finance policies and procedures. You willbe a core member of the team as we grow and scale the business.Responsibilities:
  1. Working Capital Management – Keeping on top of our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring that we invoice clients on time, and that our supplier payments are up to date.
  2. Management Accounts – Own month end processes, including posting of revenue and cost journals, bank and balance sheet recs.
  3. Forecasting – Work with the New Business team, client managers, and senior management to maintain revenue and cash forecasts.
  4. Project Accounting – Oversee financial performance of our projects, ensuring correct accounting treatment and managing working capital.
  5. Compliance & Process Setting – Take charge of our Finance processes and ensure that they evolve as the business grows.
  6. Ad hoc – as a dynamic, fast growing business, you can expect to be involved in lots of ad hoc projects, from client contracts to office space negotiations.
