As part of the Financial Analytics team within IT, support the ongoing digital transformation of the bank, primarily the development of our IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) system to meet new business requirements and continuously improve existing processes.The role requires collaborating on projects within a small team and working closely with stakeholders to understand their data, upstream systems and associated processes.Alongside TM1 development the role is required to support with various systems testing, documentation, model maintenance, running processes, end user queries and building advanced reports. In future there will be scope to support a Power BI platform andother new systems and data initiatives deriving from the banks digital transformation.Responsibilities Support the development and maintenance of our clientIBs IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) system including requirement analysis, design, testing, deployment, maintenance and documentation. Work closely with key stakeholders across the bank to understand business logic and proactively identify system enhancement opportunitiesRole Specification TM1 Perspectives / Architect development skills - cubes, dimensions, advanced TI processes, rules, dynamic reporting (active forms), workflows Data modelling and warehousing principles Familiar with FP&A activities Advanced Excel including VBA Strong user interface and experience design principles Sufficient SQL to query source databases and build new ETLs and Knowledge reports MDX for building dynamic subsets and views Development lifecycle, TM1 coding best practices and change management Experience with Cubewise tools such as Arc, Slice & TM1Py. IBM Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX) and Workspace (PAW) Power BI data modelling and dashboard development Financial and Regulatory Reporting principles within BankingEducation / Certifications Qualified Accountant (desirable, not essential))Experience 5projects+ years ideally TM1 withindevelopment small team experience, within Financial working Services on end-to-endPersonal AttributesSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a teamProactively seek opportunities to improve and automate processesGreat customer service supporting end usersClear and concise communication to both technical and nontechnical audiences.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
