Job Description

Global Commodity Trading firm based in Central London is looking for a Financial Accountant to join them.To be considered for this role you must be qualified and be currently an Auditor or have been one recently.The Financial Accountant will work within the Finance team, responsible for financial accounting and for statutory and management reporting for the subsidiary entities within the parent group.Main responsibilities

  • Complete month end, quarterly and annual accounting processes and reporting for the subsidiaries.
  • Provide detailed analysis on budgets.
  • Prepare management accountants and reports and present to stakeholders.
  • Assist on an ad hoc basis with acquisition accounting.
  • Produce statutory financial statements which will be subject to audit.
  • Provide information and answers to auditors in the UK and abroad.
Experience required
  • Fully qualified.
  • strong Audit background.
  • Sound accounting knowledge (balance sheet structure, core accounting principles, ability to identify and interpret relevant standards)
  • Confident in the use of Excel for manipulating and analysing large volumes of data
