Cobalt are currently working with a specialist real estate, financial services company who are looking for a fund accountant. This professional services firm acts as a business partner to some of the top names in real estate. The successful candidate willwork closely with clients to understand their business and take a proactive approach to delivering meaningful financial reports. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to expand on their experience within real estate. Responsibilities: Preparation ofconsolidated management accounts including: Posting journals into the GL, calculating accruals, lease incentives and prepayments, posting managing agent statements, balance sheet reconciliations and detailed analysis of P&L. Preparation of quarterly and monthlyVAT returns Preparation and submission of CIS returns Preparation of detailed ledger schedules and assisting with the provision of audit information Assisting with statutory accounts preparation Preparation of loan compliance calculations and certificatesAssisting with ad hoc client requests Requirements: ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Property fund accounting experience Experience of VAT Knowledge of Sage, Yardi and QuickBooks is advantageous If you would like to be considered for this role, please upload anup to date CV
