Job Description

Job Title - AccountantLength Of Assignment - 3 Months MinimumSalary - Equivalent of £35,000 to £45,000 per annum day rateLocation - Holborn (3 days a week in the office) - first 2 weeks training in the officeThe Company - EslingKenny are currently working with a leading consultancy, whose team of experts have developed projects, as well as designed innovative tools across finance, climate neutral APIs, and carbon offset solutions to help clientsreach their carbon mitigation and Net Zero goals. To date they have worked with over 1,000 clients and will soon have developed 700 offset projects across 23 offices globally.In this challenging position you will be coordinating with multiple offices located all over the world as a key member of the global accounting team. As the Global Accountant, you will be responsible for coordinating with stakeholders and also external stakeholdersto ensure reporting is complete in a timely fashion and inventory is managed effectively.Responsibilities:

  • Work with external accountants for a number of entities in the group (UK, France, Germany and Sweden)
  • Supervising accounts prepared by external accountants
  • Processing payments
  • Post balance sheets + P/L in the internal system
  • Review UK accounting and provide general support within the team
  • Ensure regular reconciliations are made both intercompany and within local entities
  • Ensure local entities are calculating VAT and other taxes and these are paid on time in all entities across the group
Candidate profile:
  • Bachelors degree in business, Finance or Accounting is desirable
  • Relevant experience in diverse international accounting and finance
  • High-energy, flexible and responsive work style; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Used to working closely in a diverse team, but also independently, able to liaise effectively with stakeholders within the organisation
