Job Description

We are working exclusively with a Fintech Startup who are looking for a Project Manager / Programme Manager to deliver critical transformation of their finance function in Europe and the US.The candidate will support the ongoing development of the Global Financial processes, systems and controls, ensuring that they are scalable into the future.The core areas of responsibility will be:

  • Project Manager responsible for the implementation and embedding of the finance functions in the US and Eastern Europe
  • Involvement in the overall strategy of the Finance department, defining how projects should be prioritised, proposing timelines and success criteria
  • Working with external consultants to map requirements from a regulatory, tax, financial reporting and financial controls perspective
  • Develop best practice and manage the implementation of the projects, levers and functions until the BAU functions are up and running
    • The ideal candidate will have:
  • 7+ years of project or programme management experience in a Financial Services / Banking / Payments / Fintech setting, or similar experience in a top-tier consulting firm
  • Experience in leading finance teams through large scale change programmes
  • Experience of working with large volume-based transaction processing and data sets
  • A working knowledge of SQL
  • ACA / ACCA or equivalent Chartered Accountant qualification
  • Excellent knowledge of COSO / SOX implementation and experience of applying IFRS in a complex and regulated environment
