A great opportunity for an accounting professional to join a City based financial services group enjoying strong growth. The role will encompass the full responsibility for all of the core accounting operations (AP, AR and Expense Management), treasury, fixed assets and the general ledger through the management of a UK team and offshore function. There will be additional responsibilities for the full accounting for a number of overseas subsidiaries. The scope of the roll will cover the day to day transactions, intercompany accounting, controls such as reconciliations, processes, control of the chart of accounts, the production of reports to support business partners, performance reporting including SLAs and further key metrics to measure performance, relationship management with the outsourced service provider, the driving of enhanced process improvements, business continuity planning and the development and training of staff. There will be numerous projects and initiatives in line with continued growth.
