Meraki Talent Ltd are delighted to be engaged on the role of Finance Manager - Treasury for a civil organisation based in Edinburgh. The Role/Person The role report into the Financial Controller and will manage a team of 3 Treasury Analysts. The successful candidatewill be responsible for the management and maintenance of the entire banking function. This will involve ownership of cash flow reporting; reconciling the bank accounts and balance sheet - producing the relevant reports; ensuring the key financial controlsare in place and being adhered to; as well as any posting and approving any journal corrections. To be successful, you must have strong management capabilities, good cash management/banking experience and strong MS Excel reporting skills. On Offer The FinanceManager - Treasury is offering a salary of up to £32,000 per annum with an excellent additional benefits package including FLEXIBLE WORKING (post Covid-19 restrictions). The office is based in Edinburgh and is easily accessible via public transport. N.B. allstaff are currently based at home due to Covid-19 restrictions (until further notice). You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties: Managing a team of 3 Treasury Analysts Responsible for reconciling the key bank accounts and the balancesheet for the organisation. Analysing and reporting on bank & balance sheet reconciliations Managing all money in/out processes for the organisation Managing and forecasting the cash position of the organisation Journals - creation, approval and posting Overseeingand approving the opening and closing of any bank accounts Approving any payments - BACS and Cheques Ownership of KPI reporting and ensuring these KPIs are met. Liaise with other finance department to ensure a smooth month end closure of the accounts. Liaisewith external Bank Manager on issues relating to the accounts i.e., audit queries. Other ad hoc duties as required.
