Our client is a leading European tech PE fund specialising in software and tech-enabled businesses. They are now looking for a Finance Manager to join their growing team. In this role youwill be a key member providing support to senior management through leading and co-coordinating back-office functions as well as fund administration and investment reporting. You will need to have a track record of success, be results orientated as well as the ability to work independently and be a strong team member in a fast-paced agile work environment. Essential skills include an excellent understanding and application of financeand accounting processes and practices as well as strong analysis and modelling skills (modelling skills would be a bonus). The role:• Lead, professionalise and coordinate back-office processes and policies as well as constantly look for opportunities to improve effectiveness. • Includes set-up, execution and coordination of all accounting, management accounts and payroll support processes and systems. Including journal entries in the ERP system • Ensure all tax, audit, treasury requirements are met, including treasury management, issuing invoices and managing cash flows. • Coordinate set-up of legal entities and investment structures. • Preparation of Investor Reporting and support investor relations activities. • Ensure all compliance requirements are met. • Utilise and organise data rooms as needed. • Opportunities to work with senior management on reviews of business opportunities. This includes providing analytical support on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other projects as required to support portfolio companies in theirlife-cycle. • Supporting the management of the pipeline, including leading the execution of elements of the sourcing strategy and owning the management of sales force CRM. • Support fund-raising activities as required. Candidate Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting/finance. • CIMA or ACCA qualified. • 3-5 years of relevant work experience; to include either working at an investment bank, financial advisory firm, private equity or venture capital firm. • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and (financial modelling skills would be a strong bonus) with an intense focus on accuracy and attention to details. • German Language skills would be a strong bonus (but not essential). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • A strong team player who can partner, communicate and work well with a small global team. • Keen interest in special situations, opportunities and / or the sB2B Tech-enabled services sector.
