Lead on financial control of all fixed asset projects, ensuring that Oracle projects data is maintained and controlled to accurately reflect project spend. Responsibilities will include management and analysis of additions, retirements, changes, manual depreciation and leading on the capitalisation of completed projects from the Assets in the Course of Construction category.Support, develop and drive improvements which are being made to the Acquire to Retire (A2R) process, review the integrity of data such that it is accurate pre transitioning to a new ERP system.Prepare, review, submit and present relevant accounting and reporting papers to the Finance Leadership Team and Audit Committee and be an active member of the Fixed Asset Steering Group.Support the fixed asset team so that they can meet the needs of the business -Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business including Senior Executives, project leads, BSC and with relevant external parties including Auditors. Top Five Skills / Capabilities Required Exceptional knowledge of fixed assets and capital accounting processes, experience of working at/with large complex organisations (preferably multiple organisations knows what good looks like).Ability to resolve complex legacy accounting issues and process large volumes of data, so that numbers are materially accurate and compliant with IFRS for external reporting purposes.Leadership and people management skills.Strong financial and analytical skills.
