They arevery well established and continue to grow rapidly, hence they are now looking for a Finance Manager to join their finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Financial Controller, and take ownership of the corporate accounting, autonomouslydevising operational plans to automate and continue to buy into the digital evolution they are going through. You will be the first point of contact for outsourced providers, managing a small, high performing team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supporting the Financial Controller by autonomously running the in-house corporatefunction Assist in the modelling and production of business plans (incorporating ICARA requirements) Consolidation of annual financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 Production of monthly management accounts and all ledger activities leading to theirproduction Statutory returns: FCA, VAT, P11D Payroll and answering internal queries Automated expense management and reporting on Concur software Redesign processes and procedures to strengthen controls, reduce errors and improve workflow YOUR PROFILE: Qualifiedchartered accountant with post-qualified experience working within Private Equity/Venture Capital, with a good understanding of the industry and its regulatory regime A Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Finance or other relevant degrees (minimum 2:1 classificationor equivalent) Experience with consolidation process and preparation of financial statements Analytical, methodical and highly numerate Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Autonomous, quality and results orientated, with the ability towork well under pressure Reliable, determined, hardworking and ambitious Good IT skills including modelling, and system savvy
