A healthcare market research service provider based in West London is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join its team. Employing over 400 people globally, the company isa well-established market leader in their field and can show growth in these challenging times. The company offers a bonus scheme, healthcare and life insurance.This Manager role is both challenging and diverse, it has a high profile within the UK operation and the successful applicant must be equally comfortable with liaising with staff at a senior level and rolling up their sleeves and being actively involved in the monthly quarterly and year end reporting.As the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:- The day to day management of a small finance team that carries out all aspects of the account’s clerical duties up to the general ledger level- Maintaining the general ledger; preparing the monthly intercompany reconciliations and bank reconciliations; and the maintenance of the fixed asset register.- Preparation of monthly management accounts – P&L, analytical reviews, balance sheet with comparison against plan, and B/S reconciliations- Completion of VAT returns- Preparation of the statutory account’s schedules, provision of support to the external auditors- Liaising with external payroll agents to provide them detailed information to prepare monthly payroll of about 50 employees, perform commission calculations and the yearly preparation of P11D submissionsWe are keen to speak to people about this Finance Manager role with the following skills and experience:- ACCA/ ACMA/ ACA qualified or finalist level- Demonstrate a good solid commercial experience working in a mid-management position within a finance department- The ability to prepare accounts up to profit and loss and balance sheet stages for audit purposes and management accounts production to tight deadlines- Thorough knowledge of progress billing and revenue recognition- Advanced level working knowledge of Excel. Experience with Maconomy would be an advantageIn return, the Finance Manager will receive a salary of up to £51,000 pa plus pension and all other benefits.For the successful applicants, the interview process will be firstly by Zoom and then face to face in the office following social distance guidelines. You will be expected to work part-time in the office for training and the rest of the time at home. The company will only move back to the office full time following the government guidelines when it is safe to do so.
