Absolute are partnering with an Ed-Tech business based in London, looking to hire a Qualified Finance Manager. Currently the business operates in the UK and Australian markets (c.£25m turnover) with potential acquisition plans next year which could movethe business into new international markets.As a Finance Manager you will be reporting to an experienced CFO, and will take on the responsibility of managing a small finance team (two direct reports). The business is going through a period of transformation and their ideal candidate will have experiencegoing through various process and system process improvement projects and will be confident putting in place new internal controls and systems. The day-to-day duties will also include taking ownership of the month-end process and management accounts preparationfor their UK and Australian entities.Key duties and responsibilities* Ownership of the full month-end process for UK and Australian entities* Preparing the management accounts (P&L, balance sheet recs, prepayments, cashflow, commentary)* Budgeting, forecasting and analysis* Management of finance operations, overseeing two finance assistants (billing, revenue rec, bookkeeping, payroll)* Supporting with process improvement projects, putting new internal controls in place* Cash-forecasting/Cash flow managementCandidate profile* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (Must be fully qualified)* 3-4 years+ Management Accounting experience* Strong cashflow management experience* Multi-jurisdictional reporting experience would be beneficial (UK/Australia)* Experience within a transformation environment is essential (must have developed and improved processes, controls and systems)* Ed-Tech/Education or SaaS background highly desirable (Subscription-based revenue)* Prior experience using Stripe and Xero would be advantageousPackage includes:* Salary up to £60,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)* Discretionary bonus* Hybrid working (3 days in the office initially, days from home.
