We are currently working exclusively with a very exciting startup technology & communications business on a Finance Manager hire. The organisation is backed by a large global parent company and therefore is extremely well funded for the long term! This FinanceManager position is a very broad, hands on role with exposure to numerous facets within finance and will provide tremendous opportunities for progression. The Finance Manager will be accountable for all core financial processes and will support the CFO andsenior management team with a variety of commercial improvement projects. The Finance Manager will report to the CFO and manage one person with capacity for this to grow quickly.This Finance manager position is a newly created role, designed to support the CFO with implementing the processes that will underpin the finance function moving forwards. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the monthly close process, providing reporting& analysis around performance, supporting the business with budgeting & forecasting and proactively drive improvements in processes, systems & controls. This individual will also manage one team member and will be able to coach & develop this individual inorder to delegate tasks.This opportunity provides the best of both worlds; the flexibility & agility of a startup but the financial backing of a committed global group.
