Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a leading global Sports Media business based in London.In this role, you will be the lead finance business partner across the Soccer and Stadia portfolio as well as managing the Event businesses cost centres.The ideal candidate needs to be pro-active, adaptive, willing to learn and have great communication skills.The business has a great working environment with many perks including competitive salary, bonus and great benefits. If you have a passion for sports, this could be a desirable role for you.The office is located in London, however you will have the ability to work from home at least once a week.The Finance Manager role will involve:

  • Overseeing the entire finance function
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes and analysis of variances
  • Reviewing and reconciling operations budgets
  • Ensuring monthly management accounts are prepared and reviewed
  • Business modelling for development opportunities
  • Business partnering with key stakeholders in the business
  • Create detailed financial models with relevant metrics and forecasts
  • Business and cash flow planning
  • Manage risks and operations across the events
  • Understand the drivers impacting event performance
  • Implement and maintain finance processes, reporting tools & controls
  • Supply relevant information in the audit process and preparation of statutory accounts
The ideal candidate:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT literate, including strong Excel skills
  • Attention to detail and able to manage a broad workload and prioritise tasks
  • Work to tight deadlines
