Finance Director SMF2

Role Description

Providing leadership to and day to day management of the existing Finance and Treasury functions
Shaping and growing the team to meet the new technical requirements of a business increasing the complexity of their balance sheet composition
Delivery of financial control and balance sheet management
Strategic leadership across the wider business
Driving the change agenda both in Finance and across the wider company to create a best-in-class operation that helps them realise their growth objective
Play a key role in supporting the CEO in executing the company strategy
Shadowing the CEO duties in preparation for potential future succession

Role Requirements

Chartered Accountant
Retail financial services experience ideally in fixed income lending products
Must be suitable to take on the SMF2 and Board Director position
Able to lead on the production of the ILAAP, ICAAP and recovery plan
Practical experience of capital and liquidity management including a fixed rate portfolio
Able to formulate and deliver strategy and be a strong deputy to the CEO
Proven personnel leader
Strong stakeholder management skills including with regulators & auditors
