Job Description

Finance Director FTC£90,000-£120,000 plus bonus Hybrid, London Our client is a global real estate investment and development firm with presence across the world. They are looking for a Finance Director to join the finance team in London on a one-year Fixed Term Contract.The Finance Director will be responsible for the European portfolio including accounting strategy, local and group reporting, as well as liaising with international teams and various internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities will include:

  • Overview month and quarter end as well as daily accounting for various properties across Europe and the UK
  • Review quarterly cash flow forecasts as well as annual budgeting and forecasting for the portfolio; supporting the local teams with OPEX and CAPEX preparation
  • Provide accounting records including VAT and tax returns to the internal tax team; support with internal controls processes improvement
  • Coordinate external audit partners including review of financial statements under local GAAPs
  • Coordinate with local Asset Managers, managing lender reporting
  • Manage the local statutory board process
  • Support with quarterly valuation process and attend valuation meetings
  • Review vendors payments on the accounting software
Key requirements for this role:
  • ACA / ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification
  • Prior experience working in a similar role with international exposure within the real estate industry
  • UK and US GAAP knowledge is essential
  • Strong people management and third-party management skills
  • Hands-on mentality
