Job Title: Finance Delivery LeadJob Type: Contract (12 months)Location: LondonOpportunity Overview: A fantastic opportunity has opened to temporarily join my client Anglo American, a multinational mining company, as a Finance Delivery Lead.Role Objective: The Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the FIM Pillar 2 programme, in accordance with the Beyond Finance governance framework and the agreed deployment strategy. The role sits in the Beyond Finance programmewithin Group Finance and will partner with delivery leads for Tax Pillar 2, Global IM (Information Management) and Management Accounting. The candidate doesnt need to have deep tax expertise but a good understanding of finance and S/4 general ledger and itsimplementation life cycle will be highly advantageous.Key Responsibilities:* Create and own an aligned end to end detailed delivery plan, in consultation with key programme, business and function stakeholders (including IM). This includes the following phases: Design, Build, Test, and Deploy phases.* Coordinate and manage the implementation of program activities across/within teams and 3rd parties, ensuring critical milestone outcomes are clear and linked to the benefits case* Partner with the FIM Pillar 2 Business Lead on ongoing resource analysis and where required, pivot and mobilise team members to support the delivery plan, with clearly defined roles and responsibilities * Assess the impact of and manage the delivery of cross-portfolio & business/function dependencies* Prepare and present FIM Pillar 2 status reporting, highlighting risks/issues or decisions required* Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies in line with PMO AAOM framework* Work closely with the Change & Engagement Lead to manage key portfolio stakeholder relationships and messaging, ensuring buy-in for the Wave 1 plan.* Develop strategies & interventions to bring plan on track in the event of risk to schedule, escalating when necessary* Facilitate the change management approval process whilst supporting teams in achieving successful continuous integration and deployment* Establish appropriate and effective governance structures that enable timely & transparent monitoring of progress against plan* Collate and analyse lessons learned from Wave 1 as an input into planning * Identify and implement opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of portfolio objectivesRequirements:* Experience of performing a similar project management role or proven track record in a delivery role in a SAP Finance or tax transformation project * Good knowledge of finance and tax processes, risks, and controls and systems * Project management qualification/s * Bachelors degree in finance preferred * Qualified Accountant desirable* SAP FI certification desirable* Pillar 2 experience desirableDont hesitate and miss out on this opportunity!
