My client is urgently looking for an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller with Series A/B/C experience to take the day-to-day running of finance off the hands of the COO and prepare the investment materials for the raise.Its a 2+ month contract for an experienced and autonomous finance professional looking to use their skills & experience to make a major contribution to raising a significant funding round. A successful candidate will run the finance function day-to-day during the raise process, with the role potentially becoming permanent following a successful Series A raise. Activities: - Build & own the financial model - Build & own the data room - Respond to rapid requests from potential investors during the raise process - Regular reporting (month end, quarterly VAT) - Manage 3rd party finance suppliers (accountants, banks, company secretary, lawyers) - Work with the COO to present a compelling financial narrative to investors Requirements: - Experienced start-up Finance Manager/Financial Controller/Finance Director - Completed 1+ Series A/B/C raise as the finance 2IC or higher - Comprehensive understanding of investor metrics - Expert financial modeler - Clear, concise & engaging communicator - Laser sharp attention to detail - Nice to have: familiarity with the technology outsourcing sector This is a 2 month contract working fully remote - starting ASAP.Propel are the UKs largest independent provider of permanent and contract recruitment services to the global digital economy, specialising in commercial, marketing, technical and creative talent.Services advertised by Propel are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.
