Job Description

Job TitleFinancial ControllerFull time - Permanent - based in the London Head OfficeReporting to Head of Financial Control Purpose The Financial Controller plays a vital role in assisting and supporting the Head of Financial Control in managing the Budgeting, Reporting, and Financial Analysis functions for all ITX UK & ITX Retail Ireland companies. Key Responsibilities

  • BUDGETING
Full involvement in the yearly budgeting process including the management and analysis of budgeting data submitted by Heads of all departments, its input onto the SAP BPC budgeting system and review against the budget objectives.
  • REPORTING
Producing regular reporting to inform the senior management and budget owners about business performance against both financial and operational targets as well as supporting the development of these reports. Preparation of ad hoc information according to thebusiness needs
  • ANALYSIS and FORECASTING
Analysing the companies performance, including monitoring various P&L lines and business KPIs Investigating variances against budget and regularly communicating with heads of other departments to obtain relevant information and feedback. Providing supportto INDITEX Controllers for their queries regarding the performance of the UK & Irish business Ensuring timely and accurate support in preparation of business analysis summaries for the HQ Involved in producing regular and as hoc financial forecasts for allcompanies. Experience and Qualifications
  • Business Masters or equivalent
  • CIMA / ACCA / ACA partly or fully qualified an advantage.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Financial Control or Financial Accounting preferably in the Retail Industry
Skills and Attitudes
  • Fluent in English. Good level of Spanish an advantage
  • Experienced in data management and reporting with strong analytical skills.
  • Presents strong excel skills with aptitude for other software (Power point, Keynote etc)
  • Effective communicator
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Team player but able to work independently
