Job Description

Job title: Finance Business PartnerJob type: PermanentSalary: £45k to £50k per annum depending on experienceLocation: Central LondonStart Date: ASAPEslingKenny are currently recruiting for a growing Media business based in Central London. They are seeking a Finance Business Partner due to growth within the business.Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role is crucial in delivering financial modelling and analysis to internal stakeholders that will enable them to successfully execute the company strategy.Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and report monthly results, variances and trends to internal stakeholders and as part of the Board reporting
  • Prepare KPIs for monthly reporting pack (new vs renewal, number of contracts etc)
  • Assist with month end management account processing, including revenue recognition and cost reviews for specific departments
  • Forecasting revenue and costs for specific departments and evaluating any factors that may impact these
  • Involvement in the annual budgeting process, particularly revenue whilst supporting the budget holders throughout the process
  • Working with senior managers on projects, including cost reductions and revenue expansion
  • Build and develop strong relationships with both finance and non-finance staff across the business
  • Assistance with the annual audit, accounting under UK GAAP / FRS 102
  • Ad-hoc analysis to support internal stakeholders
  • Working with the team to identifying and rollout process improvements as well as supporting and mentoring where necessary
    • Key Skills & Experience Required:
  • Finalist/Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
  • Proven experience of developing solid relationships with key stakeholders and being able to influence decision making
  • Management of subscription-based revenues including contract reviews and revenue recognition analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in querying and analysing data as well as drawing conclusions on the bigger picture and how that can effect commercial decision making
  • Be a clear and confident communicator both written and verbal
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Be able to hit the ground running with minimal assistance
