Job Description

Are you an experienced Finance Assistant with good knowledge of XeroAre you looking for a part-time hybrid UK-based role for 12 hours per weekAble to work from the office for the first week and every other week for one of your work daysYou’ve worked from home previously and love itPlus, can start in the next few weeksWe’d love to hear from you.About The Good MarketerWere a rapidly growing team of Digital Marketers supporting the underdog - the small and medium-sized businesses who need to make their budget work hard for them. Every day in our fast-paced and exciting work environment is different, so youll always beenergised.Your new part-time Financial Assistant role with us:As the agency’s first internal finance support alongside our external accountancy partners, youll:

  • Complete all Xero reconciliations against the bank account, making sure invoices and receipts are all correct, with the right VAT accounted for,
  • Chase invoices yet to be paid by our retained clients,
  • Be accountable for the Budget data in a Google Sheet where all credit card, debit card and bank transactions need to be input and reconciled.

  • Proven Xero experience (please only apply if you have solid Xero skills)
  • Strong numeracy and data skills
  • You spot mistakes quickly too
  • Want to work from home in the UK for 12 hours per week
  • You can work from the office every 2-3 weeks (so you must be able to get to Shoreditch easily)
  • Working days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • Working hours: Start time from 10am to 1pm and finish at 2pm to 5pm or anywhere in between (4 hours per day for 3 days per week)
  • You know how to communicate well
  • Your proactive, can-do attitude is sure to work well within our team
  • Excellent time management skills

  • Salary: £25,000 - full-time equivalent salary
  • Your Part-time salary: £8,125 per year (12 hours per week where 40 hours is full-time)
  • Hybrid-based - one day every 2-3 weeks in the office in Shoreditch PLUS you must be able to work the first week in the office for a proper thorough handover
