Job Description

A temp/contract role working as a finance analyst, this role has a strong chance of going permanent as there is a long term role available.Client DetailsMy client is a leading, international and award winning consumer good business. They are based in a great location in SW London and have a enviable culture. Due to COVID-19 the role will initially be based from home, however will resume in the office when necessary.DescriptionThe role will involve:

  • Prepare annual budget and monthly & quarterly revenue forecast, including trade terms, pricing and promotional activity
  • Accounting controls for Sales Deductions
  • Own, prepare and update monthly management reporting for net revenue forecast and actuals
  • Own customer trade terms changes
  • Ensure budgets and forecasts reflect committed cost reductions/savings/investment profiles
  • Enable budget owners to control spending via deep penetration and proofing of actual spending
  • Own Balance Sheet Reconciliations for Sales Deductions
  • Maintain fiscal files and records in the area of responsibility to document transactions for audit purposes
  • Provide SAP support and guidance to sales services department for monthly customer reimbursement transactions
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Support the integration of revenue accounting in the new accounting solution
    • ProfileThe successful candidate will:
  • Have advanced Excel skills - pivots, look ups and use of macros
  • Have SAP knowledge
  • Come from either a consumer good, brewery or hostility background
  • Have knowledge of dealing with retailers
  • Have a good understanding of; pricing, sales deductions and 2 way trade
